Our story

A safe place to put the weight down.

Why Eudaimonia exists

Somewhere along the way, it's easy to forget what it feels like to be looked after.

Kate created Eudaimonia because there were times in her own life when she had nowhere safe to go. Becoming a mum at 17 and rebuilding her life more than once, she knows how much people quietly carry, and she never wanted anyone else to feel the way she did.

So she made the place she once needed: a warm, calm studio at Bishton Hall and Gardens where you can put the weight down, rest, and hear yourself again. Somewhere nobody needs anything from you, and you can simply come as you are.

What Eudaimonia means

Eudaimonia is an ancient Greek word meaning human flourishing: a life lived well, even when life is hard.

It's about creating the conditions for a life that feels balanced, meaningful and sustainable, and gently learning how to come back to that when life pulls you away from it. At the studio, we bring this into everyday life through simple, grounding practices that help you slow down, breathe and feel like yourself again.

Our promise

Our promise to you is simple: to show up with care, warmth and honesty, every single time.

Everything we offer is there to help you feel lighter, rest more easily and reconnect with what matters most to you. This is a space built for real people, held with real heart.

What we believe

We believe wellbeing should feel simple, welcoming and human, open to everyone, whatever your age, shape, experience or story.

No experience is needed and nothing is expected of you. You'll find a warm, grounded space to move, rest, learn and simply be, from the classes we run to the way we welcome you through the door.

A growing family

Many people arrive on their own. Most leave feeling part of something.

Our hope is to keep growing that feeling: a small, caring community where people come for a class and stay for the sense of belonging. A place where wellbeing is shared, friendships are real, and everyone who walks through the door is welcomed into the family.

Our values

To move. Movement should feel kind and supportive, and every body deserves to be treated with care.

To rest. Rest is a practice in its own right, and it matters, however busy life gets.

To connect. When people come together in a meaningful way, something shifts, in themselves and in each other.

To grow. Small, gentle steps, taken at your own pace, bringing you gradually back to who you really are.

Come and see for yourself

Kate's monthly Saturday sound bath is the perfect way to meet her and get a feel for the studio.

Or take a look at the timetable and find a session that feels right for you.
