Service Description

This monthly drumming session is a relaxed and welcoming space to come together, learn something new, and switch off from the week. You don’t need any experience to join. This session is especially suited to beginners or anyone who’s never picked up a drum before. Guy will guide you through the basics, helping you learn simple rhythms and build confidence as you go, all within a supportive group setting. You’ll sit in a circle and play together, learning how rhythm works and how each person contributes to the overall sound. There’s no pressure to get it right, just the opportunity to join in, learn at your own pace, and enjoy the experience. Drumming has been used for generations to bring people together, and we’re now beginning to understand how powerful it can be for both body and mind. The rhythm helps to calm the nervous system, release tension, improve focus, and create a sense of grounding. As you settle into the session, it becomes easier to let go of everything else, the noise of the day, the pressure, the thinking, and simply be present in the moment. There’s also something powerful about being part of a group. Even if you come on your own, you’ll be welcomed into a space where people are learning together, connecting through rhythm, and building a sense of community over time. Held in our peaceful Staffordshire studio, surrounded by open countryside, this session offers a different way to relax, connect, and reset. This session is open to both men and women and is ideal if you’re looking to try something new, meet others, or find a simple way to support your wellbeing. You’ll leave feeling lighter, more relaxed, and more connected, both to yourself and those around you.
